No dia 26 de fevereiro, Demba Djabaté & Sanaci Sissé apresentam-se na Biblioteca de Marvila, num concerto que celebra as tradições da Guiné-Bissau. Herdeiros da linhagem dos griots, os dois músicos partilham histórias e memórias ancestrais através da voz e de instrumentos tradicionais da cultura Afro-Mandinga.

Demba Djabaté e Sanaci Sissé são multi-instrumentalistas da Guiné-Bissau, que trazem consigo as profundas raízes da linhagem dos griots: poetas e preservadores da memória ancestral através da tradição oral e da música.
Através da voz e de instrumentos tradicionais como o djembé, o balafon, o ngoni, os dois músicos carregam este legado, partilhando histórias e celebrando a cultura Afro-Mandinga e as antigas tradições da Guiné-Bissau.
O espetáculo tem entrada livre, mediante reserva.
