Em 'Purpose', Christian Rosa apresenta um novo conjunto de obras moldado pela contenção e pela decisão. On March 26th at 6pm, we will be opening ‘Purpose’, a solo exhibition by Christian Rosa, at Kubikgallery Lisbon.

In 'Purpose', Christian Rosa presents a new body of work shaped by restraint and decision. Broad areas of color carry weight, while sparse lines move across the surface as interruptions rather than descriptions. The paintings hold tension between structure and openness, immediacy and control. Paint is treated as both material and action. Marks arrive quickly, then pause; surfaces build, thin out, and resist resolution. What appears casual is deliberate, and each element remains visible as a choice.

The works suggest movement and space without settling into image or narrative. Forms emerge, recede, and return, keeping the paintings active and responsive to the conditions of looking.
