Perspectives of the European Defense Cooperation: a scenario, por Stefano Silvestri

This paper makes an extensive analysis of the perspectives for European Defense Cooperation. No European security policy can ignore the need for the relationship with the US, since the construction of the European Pillar (institutional and political compromise) is associated with other transatlantic problems such as burden-sharing. The transatlantic economic dimension is excluded from Alliance competence. Long-term cooperation is needed to solidify the US relationship with the growing European Pillar.
