The War in Mozambique (1976-1992) was enveloped by its controversial nature. It was considered that the instability was caused either by external actors direct action or by the opposition between the Rename and Frelimo ideologies. This paper addresses the complexity of this conflict in a world still bipolarized by Cold War.
