Ordem Internacional e Multilateralismo

The European Union, Mercosul and the New World Order, por Hélio Jaguaribe e Álvaro de Vasconcelos (eds.)

The book The European Union, Mercosul, and the New World Order, co-edited by Hélio Jaguaribe and Álvaro de Vasconcelos, analyses the relations between Europe and South America, specifically with Mercosul from a dialectical perspective on multilateralism and multipolarity. Empirically, it examines the needs and possibilities of regionalism, the similarities and differences between the two models of regional integration, and the modifications their collaborations have and could yet bring to the international scene. Theoretically, it devotes itself to the definition and relation between these regional integration enterprises, multipolarity and multilateralism.
