Formada pela École des Beaux-Arts em Paris, apresentou a sua primeira exposição em 1988 com État de Siège (BNF, Paris; Château d’Eau, Toulouse) e, desde então, desenvolveu um corpo de trabalho de reconhecimento internacional que abrange livros, fotografias e instalações. As suas colaborações com artistas e coletivos como Juli Susin, Lawrence Malstaf e o Royal Book Lodge colocaram-na no cruzamento entre a fotografia experimental e as práticas conceptuais, conduzindo a exposições em instituições como Z33 (Hasselt), ZDB (Lisboa), Fundação Arpad Szenes–Vieira da Silva (Lisboa), Galeria Sophie Scheidecker (Paris) e Plank Road Gallery (Nova Iorque). As suas obras integram importantes coleções públicas e privadas, entre as quais o Musée Nicéphore Niépce, a Fundação Antoine de Galbert e a Collection Royal Book Lodge.

On Saturday, October 4th , at 6PM, Kubikgallery opens the solo exhibition ‘The Clay Hour’ by Anne Lefebvre (1963) with the presentation of the film ‘Keramik Fog’ by Juli Susin.
Anne Lefebvre is a French-Belgian artist whose practice fuses painting and photography through experimental image-making processes. A graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, she presented her first exhibition in 1988 with État de Siège (BNF, Paris; Château d’Eau, Toulouse) and has since developed an internationally recognized body of work spanning books, photographs, and installations. Her collaborations with artists and collectives such as Juli Susin, Lawrence Malstaf, and the Royal Book Lodge have placed her at the intersection of experimental photography and conceptual practices, leading to exhibitions at institutions such as Z33 (Hasselt), ZDB (Lisbon), Fundação Arpad Szenes–Vieira da Silva (Lisbon), Galeria Sophie Scheidecker (Paris), and Plank Road Gallery (New York). His works are part of important public and private collections, including the Musée Nicéphore Niépce, the Antoine de Galbert Foundation and the Collection Royal Book Lodge.
