Ordem Internacional e Multilateralismo

This chapter attempts to extract conclusions from the different papers and authors published in the book The European Union, Mercosul and the New World Order. This endeavour is paired with a personal reflection of its authors. Like so, it departs from a comment on unipolarity and American hegemony to the role of regional factors and actors, such as Mercosul and the European Union, whose relation and affirmation in the international scene can defy American hegemony and establish a new world order towards multilateralism.
